Context

Mailjet needed to evolve its email delivery API while integrating it with its existing infrastructure and historical systems.

Implementation

I contributed to the architecture and implementation of SendAPI v3.1 in Go. The distributed API was delivered to the existing Google Cloud Platform infrastructure.

The system combined:

services developed in Go;
Cassandra message storage;
integration with legacy Free Pascal components;
containerized delivery with Docker.

Outcome

The new API was designed and delivered to handle millions of email delivery requests.
